We arrived at the home of Bijoy and Jency (Blessy's brother and sister-in-law) at 5am. By this time the caffeine had well and truly worn off. I was tired. No church for us today. We said our greetings and promptly hit the hay. I think I awoke at 1pm. This is really no good for getting used to a new time zone. The rest of the day was spent regrouping and repacking. We needed to consolidate our 10 pieces of luggage into 5. Weight really wasn't a factor this go around though. Whatever we could fit in the suitcase was a go. We also got internet for the first time today. It was nice to be able to talk to my folks and update the blog. From here on out we have a USB cellular modem. So communication should be little more forthcoming. The highlight of today was playing with little Lydia. This is Blessy's niece. She is such a doll baby. Just one month younger than Jonathon. Ah the contrast between little boys and little girls. Jonathon was loud and busy while Lydia just sat quietly and played with her shape toys.
Time to go to bed. Five am will arrive early! Our train departs at 8:30 tomorrow morning for Chennai. So the question is- why am I up at 3:30am typing this thing? Seriously? Ugh! Sleep on the train? Sleep optional? Hopefully this week we can get on track. Looking forward to connecting with Mano and Sheila!
